The stocked pond has monster catfish and bluegill. Our private six-acre lake features trophy-sized largemouth and the half-mile of stream offers everything from catfish to trout. Deer, Turkeys, Bald Eagles, Turtles, Rabbits, Crayfish, and everything in between love to visit our beautiful 50-acre slice of heaven. You’ll love the natural and quiet surroundings that they all enjoy!

Buckeye Beach

Buckeye Beach is located adjacent to Sunset Springs Outdoor Resort in North Central Ohio. This swimming hole features our amazing floating water park, 250′ zipline, log roll, concession stand with ice cream and food, and so much more! Buckeye Beach is open Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Buckeye Beach is closed for all guests Tuesday and Wednesday for maintenance.

All of our camping and cabin guests enjoy free admission to Buckeye Beach up to a family of four. Each additional guest is $10 per person.

Private Memberships are available to the general public for 2023. Dues are $125 per person, $400 for a family of four, and $50 for each additional child. Guests of private members are $10 per person.

Daily passes are now available to the general public Thursday through Sunday by pre-booking online. Only (50) non-camping and non-membership guests per day will be available. All daily passes will be $20 per-person.

Hours are Monday, Thursday through Saturday 12pm-6pm. Sunday 12pm-5pm and we are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Sandbox at Buckeye Beach

The Sandbox at Buckeye Beach is open to the public.

Monday – Closed (but open on holiday weekends)
Tuesday and Wednesday – Closed
Friday and Saturday 12pm-6pm
Sunday 12pm-5pm

Camp Store

The Camp Store is well-equipped with firewood, ice, and all camp supplies. Stop in for all of your camping, fishing, and swimming needs!

Camp Store is open:
Monday – Closed (but open on holiday weekends)
Tuesday through Thursday – Closed
Friday 2pm-6pm
Saturday 10am-2pm and Sunday 10am-12pm

Please call office or stop down at the Sandbox during off hours and we will get you what you need!

Park Amentities

Sunset Springs park amenities consist of a bathhouse that holds restrooms and showers, a playground, a laundry room, a shelter house, fishing, Gaga ball games, 50 acres of beautiful wildlife, and community events.

Storage

Winter storage is currently available for seasonal campers. Sunset Springs will also soon be offering boat and RV storage options to make your stay with us easier and more efficient. We enjoy hosting each and every one of you, whether you’re here for an extended stay or just for one night. We want to assist where we can and this addition will alleviate some stress, and hopefully keep you coming back!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made at least four weeks prior to the date of the reservation will be offered a full refund, less a $10 campsite ($25 cabin) cancellation fee.

Cancellations made between one and four weeks prior to the date of the reservation will be offered a 50% refund or a credit minus the cancellation fee. Credit is good for one (1) year from the date of the original reservation. Cancellations made less than one week from the date of reservation receive no refund.

Cancellations for Holiday Weekends made less than four weeks prior to the date of reservation are not eligible for a refund or credit.
